Hello,
Excellent website for your research and connecting families. You put a tremendous amount of time and research into it…very impressive.
I found the parents of my great grandfather (Peter Ernest Fulks) as descendants of William Sr. Harrell (1740-1750). Here is the section:
“LEAH HARRELL was born March 02, 17768 in Shenandoah County, VA, and died January 11, 1865 in Braxton County, WV. She married SAMUEL JOB FULKS Abt. 1798 in Wythe County, VA, son of JOHN FULKS. He was born Abt. 1776 in Chesterfield County, VA, and died March 1837 in Wythe County, VA.
Children of LEAH HARRELL and SAMUEL FULKS are:
***JOHN FULKS, b. 1801, Wythe County, VA; d. Aft. 1880; m. (1st) LUCY B. BURKS, September 19, 1826, Lunenberg County, VA; d. Abt. 1839; m. (2nd) BARSHEBA SEXTON/SEXTIN, February 24, 1839, Wythe County, VA; b. 1815, VA; d. Abt. 1849; m. (3rd) ***MARTHA WALLACE DAWSON, Abt. 1867, Braxton County, WV; b. 1848, Clay County, WV.”I have been trying to find marriage info for John Fulks and Martha Wallace Dawson (my great great grandparents) for years. This is the first break through I’ve found. How did you come about the info on John Fulks (b.1801)?
Thank you ever so much
