Three of the persons appointed to view the road. from Robt. Carter’s to Henry Davies’ Mill, thence down the south s1de of New R1ver to the Montgomery County line, reported in favor of sa1d way and it is ordered established. Spencer Breeden, Senr., and James Calfee to be overseers of same, and Henry Davies, Randal Fugate, and William Herrell allot hands under them.

Grand Jury presents: the overseer or the road from Reed Creek at Robert Grims’s (Graham’s] to James Crockett’s by information of Jas. Simpson and William Harrell (farmers); overseers of the road from Boyd’s Mill to Peek [Peak] creek upon information of Jas. Simpson and John Hounshell (farmers); the overseer of the road from the ford of Reed Creek to Jas Finley’s by information of Peter Kinder and John Hownshell (farmers);
