It is ordered that George Simmerman, Henry Simmerman, John Simmerman, John Williams, John Johnston, James Johnston, Joseph Armbrister, Abraham Davis, John D. Fields, Jacob Harrel, Elijah McMullen, Jacob Davis, William Warden, William Wilkinson, Francis A. Crockett’s two hands, William Camp, Camp Thomas, John Thomas, Anderson Moore, Enoch Moore, George Archer, William Archer were allotted to assist in opening a new road commencing at the main road near David Collins’ and from thence to Wythe Court House. Henry Huffard who proposed the road was to be the overseer.
